Hi @Ba_wa

Great question.

You can help to review other Local Guides contributions under Check the Facts.

Also, you could take a look at my new post How to make sense of Google’s responses to your edits

Hello @Ba_wa

You can’t approve any edit.

What you do through check the facts is to concur with somebody else’s suggestion. That may help to expedite that.

Further, you can’t do anything to expedite the approval of an edit. Additionally, in the current scenario that may take much more time as explained in this post.

Nevertheless, the following actions help to expedite that somewhat.

  1. Submitting an edit with ample supporting photos.

  2. A concurrence by another LG through check the facts. However, that shouldn’t be a concerted happening.

  3. Building a good trust score.

Answers in this post may help in understanding that.

Hello @Ba_wa

The following steps are applicable to the new user interface of Maps.

To reach the “Check the facts” option, select contribute —> Contribute now. Then at first some suggestions will appear for places to review. Scroll down to skip that & then you will find the menus " Check the fact", “Uncover missing info” “Answer questions” etc.

Next steps remain the same.

Hello @Ba_wa

I explained the steps clearly. You are on the right screen. You need scrolling down the suggested places. These may be five to six in numbers. Then the option " More ways to share" will become visible. There in a horizontal strip, you will see four more ways to contribute i.e. “Check the facts”, Uncover missing info", “Answer questions” ,and “Hired a professional?”

Hi @Ba_wa

I’m happy that C_T and Ermest helped you out nicely. And you found Check the facts.

It would be really helpful if you would always use the tagging tool when replying to someone here on Connect. Type @ followed by the username. Type slowly. Then we get an e-mail notification and you are more likely to get a prompt reply.

Cheers
