How to apply for google connect live 2020

Hi

I am Anju Pasari google local guide level 7 from India. I was trying to apply for google connect live 2020 but when I click the apply icon on my phone another icon appears saying level up. Can’t understand what is meant by level up. Please help out. I thought I am eligible for applying and hence received this mail, what do I need to do to level up.

Hi @AnjuP1970

This means that, when you apply, you are not logged in with your Local Guides account, or that you have more than one Local Guides account.

If you have more than a Google account on your device, make sure to logout, then login with the account that you use as a Local Guide.

If you have more than one Local Guide account, please exit from the program from here. Having more that one Local Guides account is forbidden by the Local Guides Program Terms and Conditions

In this case you can exit from the program following this link: https://maps.google.com/localguides/home/settings

You can make a test:

  • Logout from your account
  • Visit the official Connect Live 2020 application site. In this case, the button should show: “PLEASE SIGN IN”
  • Sign In with your Local guide account
