Can anyone tell me How to add village,city Or town and slect Area and shapes
and how to publish it on google map ?

Hi @Safeerkhan

There are few places which we cannot edit for eg. Landmarks, Lakes, Cities, etc. for that we have to send a feedback to Google team and they can only add it. I am attaching a set by set process to do so…

  • Find the location in relation to place you want to edit on the map.
  • Click on contribute tab(according to latest update)
  • Click on edit map
  • Scroll down and click on your opinions on maps> and give your feedback.

Hello @Safeerkhan

You can’t a Village/City or Town by yourself at this moment. To add these places you need polygon feature and polygon feature is now disable on google maps, so you can’t add or edit them only Google Employees can Add. Please use Send Feedback option on Google maps and describe your issue then Google will review your request and take appropriate steps for that.

Hello @Safeerkhan ,

Unfortunately Google is not taking suggestions for any additions or modifications to political features on the map, which includes the city/town/village category. Please do not use the “Your opinions about Maps” feature, it is meant just for opinions and not for edit requests.

I’m afraid I’m going to have to unmark @AbdullahAM 's reply as the solution, as it is incorrect. As I stated above, using “Your opinions about Maps” to make edit requests is incorrect and will not produce results.
