I have added the Arabic name of a historical place, in Egypt, on google maps, but i received an email from google that the name of the place in English, which is correct, will be removed. So, I want to fix that by Adding the Arabic name whiout removing the English name because it’s correct.
Hello @HanyM19
To do that please follow these steps.
-
On the phone, set the default language of the device as Arabic. Once done, when you open any POI for edit, you will find a new field to enter the name in Arabic.
-
On a desktop. Through the setting in Maps, change the language to Arabic. Next, you will find the same effect as on the phone.
The desktop is preferred as without disturbing the settings of the entire device you will be able to achieve the required outcome.
