How to add small Business on Google Map

Dear Brothers and Sisters

For showing your Business location on google map there is easy procedure. I will show it you step by step.

1). First of all you can either search “google my business” and got to following link)

https://www.google.com/intl/en_in/business/

(if you have a smart phone there is a app available also by google).

link For App : - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.vega&hl=en

I still prefer PC or Laptop for this .

2). There will be a form (similar to registering gmail) fill it corresponding your business details

3). Google will ask to verify your Business ( I prefer postcard method ) add address and select option to verify

via Postcard.

( Usually you receive postcard in 10-15 Business days from google )

4). When you receive postcard It contains code inside it for verify Business on google.

Viola, you will soon see you business on google map.

1. Right click on map and click “Add your business” on context menu. (https://www.google.com/maps)

2. Then new page will be opened and give your business name there.

3. Now you can make visible your business location to customers by saying Yes on next screen.

4. Give your business address on blow mention page.

5. Now locate exact position on the map.

6. Then go to next steps and provide business details and contact information as required and finish your task.

Sometimes a business entity needed to mention their working or opening hours. You can simply take a photo and upload it google map! done!

If you want to specify more you can add them in manually!

There is provision to add Days and hours.

How to make great Business Place

Make a list that tells people where to find the best business place in your city.

1. Choose a Name of Business. It could be a certain type of restaurant, printing press etc. (like Satyam Prints), of your city.

2. Write a title and description. Here you type a what type of services doe the business provides.

3. Business Hours: Here you write the business hours of that business place and days of opening.

4. Category : Here you can write category of business like restaurant, hotel, educational institutions, govt. office etc.

5. Photos: Here select or drag the great shots of the business place their name Place inner photos working photos etc.

Today I want to share my experience about how to add business on maps.?

4 Days before I just try to find barber shop near to my location so I just search on the maps but didn’t seen. So I ask to local people about nearby shops. Local people just point out that almost 100 meters from here. So I think that why is it not on maps.? So I just google and try to add that barber shop on maps.

First step is to pen maps on your phone. Click menu on top of left side to add a missing place.

When we select that option it’s ask for Business Name, Category of Business, Location, Photograph, Phone, Website, Working hours, opening date and etc.

So I simply add name, photo, owner contact number, location and working hours.

So I just added one small shop and may be this help other people to find out easily this business in future. And all thanks to google maps for give this facility.
