How to add pictures (shot by me) with my post
Hi @AnjuP1970 , there is tab at top of this discussion body that you can click to add photos. It is suggested you don’t add too many as LS Connect only have maximum of 1000 photos. If you want to share more photos, add a link to where people can view your photos. I hope my answer helps you.
@AnjuP1970 while writing the post you will find a small camera icon on top. Once you click it, it says tap for options to upload. I take screenshots of my images ready before writing the post. Screenshots because LGC doesn’t let u upload images more than 3 MB and screenshot reduces the size of the image. Moreover if you have just taken a screenshot, it appears at the top of your gallery and you need not hunt for them.
You can then select your screenshot, add a caption if you want to and then click done.
Hope this helps.
Hi @TheEagleEye ,Thank you for your prompt reply will definitely try to do the way you have said… If there’s still any problem will come back.
Be it your Mobile or pc if you want to add photos to your posts just look for this camera symbol and click on it it will take you to your mobile images gallery in case of mobile or to the pc local files location folder in computer .
Hi @Kavita1 , Thank you for your prompt reply will definitely try to do according to your suggestion and message you once I have successfully posted my pics
Hi @VickyKrish , Thanks for prompt reply… Infact I was trying to do exactly what you have said here but on tapping the camera icon on my mobile a window appears saying tap to upload photos but on tapping it doesn’t go to the gallery it just remains the same that’s the reason I posted this question.
Anyways let me try once by taking screen shot.
Hi @AnjuP1970
in our Help desk there is a complete Guide about Posting Photos on Local Guides Connect: Uploading a photo on Connect? Read these guidelines first
Please read it carefully, especially the part related to the limit of 1000 photos and how to manage it
Hi @ErmesT thanks for replying to my query…tried all the suggestions given here by fellow local guides and also went through the help desk and read the guidelines but it’s not happening so had to post my local story without any photos
Hi @AnjuP1970
feel free to edit your post for adding the photos.
Which device are you using? On mobile sometime is a bit difficult to upload photos, but the great advantage is that (if you are on Android) you can also choose your “Google Photo” as a source.
Just be carefull. If during the edit your post is sent to spam (it can happen) tag me here for a check. I am saving your post’s link here.
Good luck
Hi @ErmesT thanks for info will keep it in mind
