How to add EV Charging Station witch is not listed on the map ?

I own a EVB car and there is a lot of EV charging stations that are not listed on google map on my area, how can I add them ? In my “Add a place” menu there is no such category to include EV charging stations and details about them. Thank you !

Hello @Nomanic

Electric vehicle charging station is available as a category. See the screenshot below.

Edit : 27/10/20 Inserted image through HTML route to clear the album.

However, not all categories are available in every region.

Even then you can try by entering a word slowly and then browsing the emerging list.

Hi @Nomanic

In addition to what @C_T explained I would like to add that the companies owning the charging stations can team up with Google so Maps users will be able to see live data showing if the charging station is occupied or not.

When this is the case, it makes no sense to have local guides manually add charging stations to the map since they can not show any live data.

As a side note, you may also use the tagging system, with the “@” so that the name of a person you are forwarding the message to will appear, as it also allows you to receive notification to follow up posts easily.
