How to add Category n how to own government places?

How to add:

  1. New category of places

  2. How to own a Government Organization (what’s the procedure)

on Google Maps?

Please help in this regard.

I have noticed that category “Court/ Supreme Court/High Court” were not available!

Secondly a lot of government departments are not owned !

So what are the SOPs/ procedure for these issues?

Lots of questions. You are very welcome.

Could you use any of these categories:

District Justice

City courthouse

Justice department

Government places are claimed by the owners just like business owners need to claim their businesses on Google Maps. But of course, only relevant employees should do so.

You can not create new categories. But you are welcome to suggest new categories in the Idea Exchange. I would not be very optimistic about getting new categories added, though.

I don’t know what you mean by “SOPs”.
