I would add that Events are not available to everyone in every location.

Can you please clarify what do you mean? Do you want to organize a meetup on Local Guides Connect or you want to create an event on Google Maps?

P.S.: You can tag Connect members in your posts by writing @ before their name. This way they receive a notification and know that you are trying to communicate with them directly.
