Hey there everyone.. I hope everyone will be okay, I’m a level 7 local guide and always try to add the missing places and edit and try to correct what ever I found wrong on the maps..
It’s been a nice experience so far, for me on the maps..
As learning is a journey and it lasts till we dies, so here comes another question from me. I hope that I will not bother anyone here and you all will try to guide me..
Some paces, like Tehsil, destricts or maybe cities, societies etc are named on the maps.. There are also area names, and theose names or not for any destinations but rather for areas and those names are in multiple languages..
So how can we add them? I have search all the options but never found it.. I’m attaching a screenshot and encircling some area names in it. This is just for example.. I want to give some area their names, which are not on map.. But I’m unable to find the option to add them.. Some area also have boundaries marked on Map, my next question will how to add those boundaries to an area on the map?

Names of cities,town,district,rivers,lakes etc are done by Google itself through the Google product expert team. It is beyond the scope of a local guide to edit modify or add such. It is on a layer of the maps that isn’t available or open to local guides to operate on.
You have to ask Google to do that, by contacting the Google Maps Help Community. You will have to provide to them a public official (governative) map of the area, where the name are written in the proper way.
The Product experts will check your request and, if they found it appropriate, they will escalate the issue to the relevant Google Maps team
I see… So by suggesting and submitting them all the info via the Send Product Feedback section on the Google map, will not makes things happen. Rather we need to suggest all those edits to them on the Google Maps Help Community in a post?..
Well we can still do all the effort, if it can be doable..
