How to add alternate routes to maps

Wanting to check how to add alternate routes on maps that Google is not showing. Especially walking routes that Google is not aware of and is showing longer routes here in Singapore.

Currently, Google Maps doesn’t offer this option. However, this idea was suggest from another Local Guide on the Idea Exchange board. If you would like this feature to be added on Google Maps, feel free to vote for the idea → Ability to add walking paths on Google Maps.
