How do I add a new place in Google maps. I have tried so many time with all the accurate details but it does not seem to work at all.

Adding a place on Google maps is very easy as ABC. Just follow the link below, you will be able to do it.

Hi @ArslanMalik its very easy, go to map, point on the place to add and click on the “dropped pin” pop up that appears at the bottom, you’ll find “Add a missing place” option there itself. Just fill in the required details and submit.

Are you referring that the edit are being rejected though you have given enough details.

If you are looking for the steps to add a missing location to maps you can do the same by following these simple steps :slight_smile:

  1. Just long press on the location where you want to add a new location you will see the map marker pin
  2. Then click on the top left hamburger icon
  3. Scroll down you can see Add missing place
  4. Enter the following fields and once you are done submit it
  5. If google feels your submission is valid they will approve it :slight_smile:

Thanks for the information, it was really helpful. I have already added almost 60 new places to the map and nothing is stopping me :grinning:
