How to Achieve Badges from Writing Started Posts.

Local Guides Connect give recognition to Local Guides who write approved* started post here on Connect.

Approved* started post according on my experience is based on originality content and no other post has been discussed the same topic.

If there te same topic your post will be merged to the same topic that have been posted, for neat and well-organize this community.

There five badges for write started post :

  1. New Writer where you write your first approved* started post
  2. Budding Writer where you write your fifty approved* started posts.
  3. Zippy Writer where you write your a hundred approved* started posts
  4. Influential Writer where you write your two hundred and fifty first approved* started posts.
  5. Master Writer where you write your five hundred approved* started post.

My tips to write an approved stated post are :

  • Search in this community, are there are already same topic with you ?
  • If yes, put your ppost as a comment on that post.
  • If there no topics with the same with yours, post it and choose its topic Photography, Travel, Food and Drink, Local Stories, Meet-ups, How-to and Achievement.

For Your Information as per my discussion with @MortenCopenhagen

Approved at the sentence basically there is no approval proces taking place, it means I understand that to the fact that some posts get merged to keep Connect organized or et removed because they are not related to Local Guides and Google Maps.

The terms Approved nearly Unique and relevant. .

Thanks for posting.

You used the term Approved in you post many times. Actually, there is no approval proces taking place, but I understand that you are referring to the fact that some posts get merged to keep Connect organized.

Maybe the word Unique describes it better.

Some posts get removed because they are not related to Local Guides and Google Maps. So maybe the terms Unique and relevant would be even better.

Just want to add that in general posts don’t get merged very often. You can write the same topic, but as long as it reflects your own experience and unique enough from others, that would be fine. Most of the times posts that are getting merged are for emerging issues, and recent issues that affects a lot of people (rewards related question, for example).

Great share @BudiFXW ! I was actually looking for a refresher guide on the badges, and your article popped up. Super helpful that you list the badge names and the count of posts needed!
