I am fully dedicating this post to a dedicated and my dearest photographer: @Erik_van_den_Ham . Erik has the one and only Domestic Alien on earth that assists him to take a naturally blurred photo with its shaky hands!! . Happy Photography Day my friend. These are the recent photos that love very much and is it possible to share all of these photos in your post:World Photography Day - August 19, 2020
I took all these photos on August 5, 2020, at my lovely village Chpari . I was sitting in the field of Asiya Hasan Secondary School ground with some young boys of the village on that late afternoon. Intentionally I sat facing west so that I can take some photos of the setting sun. I never thought that I will be able to take some nice photos like these. I know many of you have taken better sunset photos than these are. To me, these are better than my other sunset photos. I took all these photos from 6.13 Pm to 7.03 PM. I took photos in 3 positions: First from direct facing to the west. Second from over my head. Third from my back (to the East). I have used my smartphone Samsung A50S to take all these photos. Ok now letâs see what I got that day.
First Position (I took photo facing west)
6.13 PM
6.33 PM
6.43 PM
6.45 PM
6.50 PM
6.51 PM
6.52 PM
6.55 PM
7.00 PM
7.03 PM
Second Position (Over my head)
6.47 PM
6.58 PM
Third Position (facing to the East & over my head)
6.47 PM
6.50 PM
And this is the only Portrait View photo that I took at 6.54 PM
If you do not like the photos please let me know in the comment. If you want can share any photo you like to share on this very special World Photography Day 2020. Thanks
Hello @MukulR good morning from the Netherlands (still very early here 5.09 am). I love the fact you decided to do a whole post on WPD! Great thinking and thanks for mentioning me (letâs not forget about the aliens). I think you took some really wonderful sunset pictures. The colours and scenery are really great.
As we had our little conversation on sharing one of your âbestâ or good pictures you told me you couldnâtâĻI beg the differ!
One can take perfect pictures with a phone camera there are just some limitations to it. Knowing what these are you also know what is possible.
Taking sunset pictures (or twilight) is very well possible as youâve shown us.
I like the pictures very much butâĻ(oh no heâs coming up with a but!).
To make them even look better I would suggest so editing to level the horizon in them. Try it for yourself and have a look at them again and compare the two. Let me know what looks better?
Fun fact pictures taken without a horizon that is horizontally levelled are referred to as âDutch tiltâ so you could have done it on purpose just to please this Dutchman here
Sharing is caring so here is a picture I took yesterday at a very beautiful nature reserve in the Netherlands called the Posbank.
Taken in early morning light (actually I needed to get up at 4.30 am to get to this place in time for moody shots in the soft light. (Heads up: I will do a post on this area coming soon)
Very Good Morning to you on this special day of WPD! @rErik_van_den_Ham I was very happy after taking these shots. But I found one problem when I see the photos later. I saw the height of my photos has been reduced though I took the photo in landscape mode of my phone. I fixed the phone camera setting yesterday. Anyway, I am not a professional photographer as you know so leveling the horizon was not in my brain before. I will Google on this and will practice. Now I am a little clear about Dutch Tilt I will keep in mind next time.
Posbank is naturally a beautiful place no doubt about it. You can get a lot of great subjects in this park and the nice photo of the Icelandic horse can be a nice example of that. The reflection of the sun on the mane of the horse is just amazing to me.
Thanks for all the tips and I will be waiting to learn more from you. Happy Photography Day once again.
A great post, amazing photos and a very pleasing animated GIF @MukulR . Thank you so much for your understanding and willingness to make a change and adopt good practices to avoid annoying animated GIFs for the benefit of others. Youâve clearly demonstrated good testing and careful selection of frame rate for your opening GIF.
I made this GIF earlier, I was just waiting for this day World Photography Day to publish this post. By that I saw you nice post on GIF @AdamGT To make this kind of GIF requires time, skill, and creativity which our localguides may not afford and may not possible to make in mobile phones. I am glad that you like this. Thanks for your nice comments.
I think @MukulR that you should create a How-to post to teach others how to create a good and non-annoying GIF of their images. We would all learn from your technical abilities here
I am very much glad that you like this post. I did not think about the golden hour. I jut had a plan to take some sunset photos. Moreover, I did not know that the sky will become like this that evening. thanks for you nice comments. I always feel inspired by your sweet words.
Hello @MukulR hope you are enjoying WPD a lot.
My comment on the horizon is of course just to help you. I have many pictures that are taking this way. Before I post them I correct these as itâs an easy thing to do.
I googled about the horizon level today. As I use my mobile phone to take photo, so I do not have an option to correct it while taking photos. But I can do it by Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom. Can you show me one before and after photo that you worked on @Erik_van_den_Ham . Thanks for your nice comments.
Wow @MukulR my good buddy. This is an excellent post that deserves more than one kudo . Your photography skill is 10/10. The scene you captured is very lovely. Thanks for sharing this with us on connect.
I am very happy thst you like this post. Actualy I was lucky that day evrything was in my favor that time. This post is a good combination of time, place, and actionâĻ Thanks for your nice comments and appreciation.
