Becoming a local guide has not only opened the entire world from just a simple click on the phone but this sophisticated and intelligent app has enabled literally billions to make various contributions and assist people from around the globe.when I say the word achievement , this satisfying and victorious word can have numerous comprehensions depending on an individual but in the case here,this word truly has a meaning and it would have never been possible if it had not been for google maps.
Have you ever done something so interesting that you strongly felt the urge to just proudly blurt it out to the world?
Well,I have and that too as a local guide and it was done with the help of google maps.
I initially started making contributions by posing simple yet helpful reviews about certain places that I was familiar with and it turned out, my reviews had actually started making an impact and it literally help numerous strangers from my area.My reviews gradually grew and got better and better until one day - my hunger for contributing grew to such an extent that I ended up posting detailed videos and pictures.
After having a couple of tests performed on me from one of the best hospitals in Karachi,I soon found myself automatically writing a comprehensive review on google maps and in a matter of days , I received many likes and the views increased as each day passed.
After a couple of days when I went out for our monthly groceries with my mother,I was abruptly met with a young female stranger who started thanking me for the review about the hospital that I had posted earlier as it had helped her decider where to take her ill mother who,unfortunately,was diagnosed with cancer.
She was thankful for the honest review as it helped her decide which hospital was more suitable though the others were also good but this one was much better.
Who knew a simple review could help some one in deep trouble and this truly was and is still an accomplishment to me.
I really hope I can help more people like this and not only would I like to help but I too have benefited from this amazing platform-connecting trillions.
