I usually ever concerned about my reviews as they were published usually but I realized now when I go through my old postings, that some or the most pictures are missing.
Now during the quarantine I have a little more time, between the books I’m reading and the stuff I have to write through, to get into the matter of Google Maps Local Guides.
As I don’t have a super smartphone but a super tough smartphone I have to empty often my space and delete pictures. That means, I mostly delete the most of them after writing a review and adding them on Maps.
Now, unfortunately I realized that some old reviews of mine never appeared, and so are the pictures.
As traveling I mostly don’t write during my travels and leave it afterwards or mostly do it during boring breaks like airport waiting or bus rides etc.
My question here is, how long does it takes usually to be published?
Or is there a break from the system, if someone is writing review after reviews, the system is saying, stop, there is something wrong… someone is leaving to many comments or something like that?

The system will never tell you what was wrong. However, before the deletion of the content, that becomes private. Then one can examine that and take some action to make that public again.
Nevertheless, before the current temporary product changes, any contribution was getting published almost instantaneously.

I find it funny for example at the current location where I stay (a small coastal town of Turkey’s west coast) I find ridiculously added places which do not exist at all like many ATM’s between apartment blocks without pictures. When I corrected them last year, with a proof of taking photos they do still exist on maps. Which is decisive and sometimes exhausting under the sun searching for a place.
And I added two new places like a private massage studio and a cat adoptation/shelter which are still in proof.
