How Iran and Israel can be easily friends by Google Guide

Hello ?

I’m a hiker, canyoneer, caver, alpinist and mountaineering love. Traveling few times a year all over, following my passion, climbing mountains, rappelling wet and dry canyoning, explorer new creeks, mountains, caves and more. In each of my travelling, google guide is a significant part my planing, my path and a way to share it with colleges and friends all over. But most important and fun, it is a way to share the spirit of the area I’m visit with people I don’t know and meet new people. Knowing that it will be used by someone you don’t know, while I have been helps by the same, it make the feeling that the world is one big global nation with people that like to help, meet and share there spirit and experiences with everyone.

One of my special memory is from Kyrgyzstan- A beautiful worth visit country. I’m jewish leaving in Israel and I was traveling with my two sons and stop in a small local unknown market to buy some locals fruits. Try to speak with one of the seller while don’t knowing the language, it was difficult till a nice person come and help with the translation. I thanks him and we started to spoke. When I asked him where he is from, he mention that he is from Iran. Everybody know that Israel and Iran are not friendly at all. So it make both of us much more curious and we all went to a nice local restaurant, which we found by google guide and have a lunch together. One of his first questions was - How do you know this market, and I answered - “By Google Guide of course”, me too he answer and we all smile. So this unique meeting wouldn’t have been happened without google guide. Google guide is part of my hiking life for sure and more and this is what the Local Guides program mean to me ?

I consider to be know in Israel as a unique hiker, volunteer in two rescue unites and a well known Chinese Medicine Doctor - which is my daily professional work. My patients and my followers (more than 10,000) are following my way of life, my hobbies, my posts, my specific knowledge about healthy lifestyle and my hikes. So it make each of my post or my Google Guide comments much more meaningful to me and others.

Having Google maps and Google guide is a brilliant and worldwide network which connect people not only on screen, but much much more - on the reality.
