It was 29th December, just 5 days after Christmas eve and 2 days before New years eve and were a Sunday… No one wants to leave their nests on that day, but I needed to. It was my cousin’s birthday and all of my other cousins from different parts of the city are hosting a surprise party for him at his place.
Without a choice, I attended the party, wished my cousin and surprisingly I enjoyed it a bit, but then when my body began craving for rest, I heard them ‘We shouldn’t end it, we should continue at a restaurant.’ ‘That’s it, it is my end’; that’s what I was thinking in the car all the way to the restaurant.
But as I began climbing the steps of the near-to-constructed building, my lethargic body suddenly started to feel like exploring, and as I stepped in, I was in awe!!
‘Who came up with this idea?’, ‘Do restaurants like this also exist?’, ‘Am I in an old Indian train?’ etc. etc. were some questions rolling in my mind… but what was that thing which made my lethargic body get back to life and my tired weekend become a memorable memory?
As you already noticed it in the picture… no, not that I suck at photography, but that, there is a rail track on our dining table… yes, like you are thinking, it is a concept restaurant where a train serves you the food.
As soon as we settled on the chairs, which were also train seats, every one of us removed the phones and began clicking the pictures. And to mention, that day, the restaurant was near to empty and the only other couple in the restaurant was also like us, clicking various pictures of the whole place.
The food was delicious as well, so all of our reviews were quite intriguing. We immediately uploaded our clicks as WhatsApp and Instagram statuses, and as soon as I went back home, I uploaded my first Vlog on youtube which is hard to call as Vlog because it was just a compilation of pics with a simple BGM, but I also have written a long blog with every detail of the restaurant.
And then added the pics on google maps, wrote a review and then, I was answering my friends’ questions on WhatsApp about the restaurant as they were also surprised by seeing the pics of the restaurant.
The day has been long, but I didn’t care about it as I was too excited about writing a blog and uploading my first ever kind-of-vlog and then, a week later, I realized, I was promoting the restaurant all along. And now, a month ago the restaurant was on NEWS and when my friend visited it a while ago, it was hugely crowded as if a celebrity as arrived there and my friends needed to wait for half an hour to get the seats.
