Hey y’all
My name is Ricardo Contla I was born 26 years ago in Mexico City, all my life I have been interested in discovering new places, since I was a child, I remember the first time I went to the beach, climbed a mountain and even visited a pyramid! All of these places are amazing and I am fortunate that they are all within my country, México.
My first trip outside my country was to Europe, I was only 22 years old and I would only do it with a couple of friends who had never traveled so far. I was very nervous, but looking in YouTube I found that Google Maps could help us a lot, with 3 things primarily:
-Check the rating of the local guides in each of the places we would visit (hotels, restaurants, even a couple of bars 
).
-Make a list and a route of the activities we wanted to do on that 3-week trip.
-Use the offline function of the map and thus never get lost during the tour.
I have always loved technology, more than that, I love the way technology makes life easier for the people who use it, that is why when I returned from the trip I decided to help people who visit places where I have been and google helped me and empowered me to make this possible as a Local Guide!
Since then all the countries I have visited have been reviewed and rated.
I cannot imagine how to enjoy the trips I have had to: Brazil, Peru, Spain, France, London, Las Vegas, New York and in some month JAPAN! without technology and specifically without the help of Google!
