Its Ahmad from Pakistan but living in Malaysia from last 5 years, I would like to write about why I joined Google Map and update the detail of Local Business, Govt Offices & send feedback about the errors founds in Map Frequently.
It just started in 2015 when I was trying to submit my visa application for to Immigration Department of Malaysia because I did not have very much wealth to spend on the taxis and buses while visiting Govt Offices, that’s why I choose to ride on the bicycle to get the job done. Since the process of visa was very long (it takes approx. 1.4 years to completed) and I have to visit the offices several times a month.
at the time I started the visa application I was not really aware of the roads in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, Since I’m a blogger I was aware of the Navigation Concept of Google so I choose the Google Map as my road guide. But the thing I found that was not correct is the contact detail & address most of the Govt Offices. (not all Authorities but most of them was not up to date). Then I search about it on Google that how can I update that detail so that other people can be saved from getting into trouble. Since that, I started contributing to Google Map & today I have 6 Star as local Guide, soon it’s going to be 7 stars.
Last but not least, Application has been completed in Feb 2016 and all of the travellings during my visit to Govt office done on bicycle & by walking, now whenever I visit any Govt. Office or Embassy I mostly check it’s address and contact detail to check if it’s up to date or not & I also have added 8 new places newly build in Johor Bharu.
