Basically I became Local guide and got to know about local guide program completely by accident and it took around 2 to 3 months to totally understand about this. Then I went to Vishakhapatnam ( vizag, India) to visit my cousin’s house. There I had visited a place called dolphin nose light house.
Above photo which was taken by me at the same location currently has about 1.2 Million views. This made my friends and cousins inspired and they started their journey towards becoming a local guide in maps and now they are.
I have a proud feeling that I am helping lots and lots of people and tourists by helping them to make their visit and decisions bit easy. By this I’ve learnt a lot of things like for example, taking good quality photos which will help visitors, giving information about the palce which will be not described and this has made me more of a social person nowadays because lately I’ve been approaching and talking with strangers with very ease.
I genuinely love to be a part of localguideconnect 2020, because I can meet so many people with same mindset, I can get exposed to new culture, I can travel to new places, I can see and learn what really happens behind and moreover I get to know that how much does a local guide matters for Googlemaps and for everyone.
