How I celebrated Connect's 7th Birthday!

This 15th of July Connect turned 7. What an exciting day for all of us!

It makes me feel so good to share with my connect friends about how I participated in this celebration.

Being (comparitively) more familiar with connect, I started the conversation with what connect platform is and how to contribute to connect and maps.

We discussed the LG program and some historical events like how I came across the Connect platform during the Connect live application, my visit to Google office (BKC) etc.

We discussed what type of contribution should be made to maps for example, accessibility, and sustainability inputs can add more value to our reviews.

We shared our travel experiences while discussing maps and some unique delicacies that we have tried during our travels in and outside India. We also loved discussing our favourite Maharashtrian Food.

We enjoyed our coffee session and later we clicked pictures as a memory to remember this day!

First of all…Happy 7th birthday, Connect…! @Smita_Patil It sounds like you had a fantastic celebration with your fellow Connect friends. I love the photo of your beautifully decorated LCD slate with the microcrochet flowers - such a thoughtful touch…! The picture of you and your friends posing together is lovely as well, and it’s great to see the connect logo in the background. It’s great that you took the opportunity to share your knowledge about Connect and how to contribute to the platform and maps. It sounds like you had some interesting discussions about the LG program and your personal experiences with Connect. I bet talking about our visit to the Google office was exciting…! It’s really great to be a part of Connect and a having friend like you… :blush:

Hey @Rohan10 many thanks for your response. I am glad I could write this quick post for our connect unlike many pending posts that you are aware of!

I hope we catch up sometime soon including @Shrut19 @AjitThite @MayuriKubal @globe_trotter_Isha and our friends from elsewhere (outside Mumbai) for this or any coming occasion!
