Last Sunday in July 2025, I planned a spiritual morning ride to the beautiful ISKCON Temple in Kharghar. I had been wanting to visit this place for a long time because of its peaceful environment and devotional energy.
Although I had the will, I didn’t know the way.
That’s where Google Maps stepped in as my trusted co-rider. 
Google Maps — My Reliable Navigator
Since I was riding solo on my bike from Thane, I needed accurate and real-time navigation for the best route and morning traffic updates.
I searched “ISKCON Temple Kharghar” on Google Maps
It showed me the shortest bike-friendly route via Panvel Expressway
Estimated travel time, distance, and real-time traffic info were extremely helpful
Voice-guided turn-by-turn navigation worked flawlessly, especially at confusing flyovers and service roads
Even during the ride, Google Maps warned me about speed breakers, sharp turns, and traffic slowdowns ahead, which made the ride smoother and safer.
Morning Ride + Spiritual Recharge = Perfect Start
Riding in the early morning with cool breeze, empty roads, and Google Maps guiding me — it was a refreshing experience.
When I finally reached ISKCON Temple, the calm and devotional vibe made it all worth it. Clean premises, melodious chants, and serene atmosphere offered a much-needed mental detox.
I spent some time meditating, walking around the temple, and soaking in the peace. It felt like the perfect beginning to my Sunday.
As a Local Guide, I decided to contribute back by:
Adding recent photos of the temple
Writing a fresh, up-to-date review
Answering key questions for new visitors (like parking info, best time to visit, etc.)
I believe these small contributions help others just the way Google Maps helped me.
