Hello I am An An, a local guide from Taiwan.
Local guide program mean a lot to me in different aspects.
- For myself, my dream is to travel around the world and to create my own map records where I have been and where I will be.
I couldn’t make it without Google map and Google local guides.
When traveling to a new country, I rely on local guides reviews to find out where is worth visiting.

I could know the reality of the place rather than just judging from beautiful photos on Instagram or blog.
- For others around the world, my motto is’’ always more blessed to give than to receive.’’ I also want to help people who travel to Taiwan or the place I have been as the same reason, travelers all wish we could had an impressive travel memories. Moreover, Taiwan is so beautiful and unique that I want to share to more people.
- I could always find something interesting though I have leave in Taiwan for decades. There will be some new stores cater new trends or some traditional stores insist on traditional cooking method and taste. As a local guide, it is my pleasure to provide up-to-date information.
Recommend to whoever enjoys beaches, arts, and dogs. There are some paint arts on the wall and many people will take their pets to chill together.
- For business owners, they could know customers suggestions directly. It is interesting that I found I got more likes for the comment I complain how bad the company’s service was. This could mean I wasn’t the only one to feel that. Therefore, if the owners viewed the comments as important suggestions, they could know how to do to make their business better.
