Hello Local guides, I am always looking for a new way to become a better Local Guide, trying to be a better person than what I was Yesterday.
As a local guide who is looking to assist new local guides who join us here everyday, it becomes almost impossible for me to tell if a local guide has introduced them selves or not, unless they mention that on a post, especially if I become the first to see that post, that is when I try to look at their profile and check on that’s month threat using dates to confirm if they have introduced them selves or not. Sometimes I end up not being sure if they did or not.
My purpose is to be able to welcome them and give them relevant links like 14 helpful tips for using Connect and Introduce yourself thread specific for that month.
I am looking for a way on how I can tell without for them having to mention it, as I noticed that some of our local guides can tell without being told, I am not sure if this uses a special feature available only to Moderators and Googlers. Can someone please assist here. Thank you.

You already do it every day, with helpful replies on How To, and supporting the newcomers.
I would like to help you more to help others, but I am not sure to get your request, as for sure Connect Moderator don’t have any special (secret) tool.
can you give an example?

Thanks @ErmesT I do not know how I can explain this, and give example, but will try, I only tell if someone has never introduced them selves if they mention it on that post just like the text appearing on the photo used on my post, that is what I normally see and conclude that this guide has never introduced them selves or by looking at their profile which may have only one post with 2 or 1 number of post created by looking at their statistics on their profile that is the only tool I use to tell. Now what I have noticed is that is easy for Moderators or Googlers to tell even if the qualities which I use are not there.
From that, that is when I thought that may be there is something else I can use which is the same as the one used by you which I do not know of.

No special tool nor special tricks @Raphael-Mahumane , we do exactly the same.
As we are talking about new Local Guides, with just a few replies, it is very easy to see if some of the reply has been merged on the “Introduce Yourself” monthly thread.
Probably, being very active, we’ve developed a good feeling

Hi @Raphael-Mahumane @ErmesT has given you some good answers, I’d like to add a little more, it’s easy to tell if someone is new (is this their first post, have they been on Connect very long?). All you need to do is click on their avatar and you’ll go to their profile page where you can see their posts and how long they’ve been on Connect.
