How do you find the best taco shop in your area?

I travel the US in an rv and I love trying to find the best tacos the area has to offer. I always start my search on Google Maps. I try to look at distance, ratings, reviews, but most importantly pictures. I check to see what the parking and seating situation is. I usually like to sit and eat when I go to a new restaurant rather than take it to-go. I also look at the prices. If the prices are outrageous I tend to skip over it. A good taco shop does not have to cost an arm and a leg. Some of the best taco shops I’ve been to are food trucks. Don’t let outter appearances fool you. If they make their own tortillas and use fresh ingredients with good portions, it’s definitely worth a try. Simple is better in my book. I don’t need a million toppings on my food like lettuce, tomato, or avocado. Also, if you find yourself at a food truck, plan to wait. It’s worth the wait for good, fresh tacos. Lastly, a taco shop’s sauce can make or break a good taco. I make sure there aren’t any bad reviews about the hot sauce before I go.

That’s how I find the best tacos in an area. How do you find the best tacos in your area? What are deal breakers? What are must haves?
