How do you add an item to Google maps with just the coordinates (longitude and latitude)? Also if you are to add the little “o” next to the number how do you do that? And how do you let Google know it has the wrong picture for the primary photo. My post: https://www.google.com/maps/contrib/103386024139526427298/reviews/
The specific post I added yesterday that got accepted yesterday. I just fumbled around and got it but want to know the right steps. Also, it picked the wrong picture as primary.

Hello @MartinBrossman , I don’t think there is any way to influence which image gets picked as primary. For existing POIs the primary image also changes over time, as the algorithm seems to prefer newer images over older (and indoor pictures over storefronts - but that is not relevant in this particular case).
An adding a place with coordinates only is also something I have not seen yet. As far as I know, an actual address (at least a street name) is always needed.
Thanks,
I was able to add this location without coordinates but don’t remember how I did it that is why I want to see what the official steps are.
@MartinBrossman if you add a place, you need to indicate a spot on the map, and the software will then propose an address based on the road closest to it (74 in this case). Adding a place without a road nearby (e.g. on an unmapped bike trail is not possible - quite a few people have complained about that already.
