After launch of connect version 2.0, it is flooded with new posts (which is very good by the perspective of google community). But the newer version where threads are sorted by the timing of post (whereas earlier the last commented thread were on top). Now many good threads are buried miles below. The only option is to get that thread featured.
Hence I want to know how do any posts get featured. Is there any criteria or just opted by moderators. This will be really helpful for creating the future posts. However it takes a lot of time to create any good thread specially with images, and other details about the subject matter.
I want to share with you my thought (my thought, I don’t have first hand information).
The new Connect is improving day by day, and need to be tuned.
A first improvement appeared yesterday, ave you seen it?. Now, on the preview page (AKA main page) you have the preview of the last four post that have been replied. So, a good post, have the possibility to “float”, being in this acknowledged. It is a first step. I have some idea, of course, and I will share it on the Idea exchange Board soon, for small improvements. Feel free to write your suggestions in there
