You could start by making a presentation about your self. Each month a new introduction thread is started here on Connect.
Then you can search here on Connect for people near you or with similar (or opposing) interests.
Then you can start by liking and cheering others that makes valuable content that you like.
Share your experiences and be friendly.
Via the message system here on Connect you can then exchange email etc.
