I filled in all the information except the “phone number”, “site” and “opening date”. Even attached two photos of notifications on the door of this office. But the submit button is still unavailable.
I suggested that maybe the point is the time format, which displays as “09” instead of “9:00”. But, firstly, if the system does not accept this format, it needs to be fixed. And secondly, the format is reset exactly to that when, for example, during editing, a day is added, or a break is inserted.
It appears that you are trying to add a place on a desktop. On the phone, a right arrow appears at the top instead of a send button.
Further, I guess you are using the menu option " Add place" instead of dropping a pin. A better way to add a new place is to drop a pin at the required location by either a right or a long press. The pin then picks up a correct address.
I checked steps in the creation of any new POI once again through the drop pin method. The site expects information in two fields only viz. the name of the POI & category. The moment I filled up both, the send button became active.
If that is not so then I suggest going through the usual troubleshooting steps of clearing the browsing history + cookies & ensuring that the browser is updated.
It might be the address field @Korwin . Did you manually enter it without selecting anything suggested by Maps (in an area popping up just below the place where you can enter the address)? Then you can indeed not submit, you really need to select one of the suggestions (= the locations already known to Maps).
Hello @JanVanHaver . I have a category issue at hand here as usual. I added a "bureau de change " in Africa it’s a place for foreign exchange. Place to change from hard currencies into our local currency here, I had it down as cash point and google can’t verify my edit its says the category is wrong.Can you advise what category can be used for that please?
Thank you @JanVanHaver . Map editing is getting though now as Google can’t verify all the added road edits I have done so far. Even my own street has a wrong name attached on the map. I’ve tried in vain to edit it. Place creation is ok but I may give up road edits. Thanks for the reply

I do not use the web application menu to add a new place, nor the “pin”. By “pin” do you mean search result labels? No, I just right-clicked on the map and selected “Добавить отсутствующее место” (“Add a missing place”):
Indeed @Korwin that is also what I sometimes experience: something does not work and then the next day it works just fine again. We need to learn to live with that, I guess
Which posts do you exactly do you mean @Korwin ? The ones that are ‘featured’ per topic or the posts in the ‘trending’ section close to the top of the Connect hompage?
@JanVanHaver , Is there any difference between the “kudos” of different posts? Once you specify - then yes, there is a difference.
I thought it was an analogue “I have the same problem” or “I do not have this problem, but I want this user to solve it” / “I, in giving my vote, want to draw attention to it”.
Or, repeating yourself, do you interpret them somehow differently?

@MashaPS , я с большим удовольствием продолжу обсуждение вопросов недоступности кнопки “Отправить” в форме редактирования или добавления места на Картах, ровно как тот смысл, который пользователи этого форума и его модераторы вкладывают в “кудосы”, в которых измеряется темы (и то, на что их количество влияет) - на русском языке. Если таковые желающие здесь появятся. Пока же чаще наблюдается ситуация, когда все стараются сформулировать свои вопросы, жалобы и предложения на английском только потому, что по количеству англоязычных тем складывается впечатление, что именно англоговорящих здесь больше, чем говорящих на других языках. (Даже если при этом в формулировках появятся неточности или явные ошибки, искажающие изначальный смысл.) И, следовательно, получить полезный ответ, или надеяться на добавление предложенной функции в Карты, создавая тему на языке, отличном от английского, лучше не надеяться.
Либо, мне надо было создать несколько идентичных по сути тем обсуждений, отличающихся только тэгом “язык” и собственно языком, на котором был бы сформулирован первый пост (переведенных самостоятельно, или с помощью системой машинного перевода)?
Или лучше переписать первый пост на моем родном, русском, и вернуть тэг “русский язык”?
