I’m not aware of any offer for Google One subscription through Local Guides program at the moment. Can you please confirm where you get the offer from? Usually for these kind of offers you can sign up for free until certain period, but will need to cancel before the period if you don’t want to get charged.
It was a level 5 perk for 1 year, I was offered via email from Googleabout 9 months ago. (Yes I make certain all emails are actually from Google) I’mI signed up but my card has charged every month???

I have not heard anything about such an offer to LGs for several years. Maybe is was not a LG related offer.

if you do, you can also cancel the subscription from that page.
I remember this perk @Patrockyj it was one free month of Google One. It had to be cancelled before the month rolled over or you get charged. This appears to be what has happened to you.
