Hello local guide connect, is there a particular feature on the map i can use to add a newly established settlement on the map?

Adding a new settlement or community on the map is not feasible. This is because, adding an entire settlement requires lot of data and information which I believe can be addressed by a moderator, so I’ll tag @Bobiisha
Unlike adding a missing place on the map, it is very rare to find a missing community as Google have everywhere mapped out already. However, you can use the send feedback option to help address such challenges.

In order to add a village on the map, you should use the feedback button after you pin the right location. In this discussion you will find more information on how to proceed. Meanwhile, I will relabel your post to How-tos. It is a board, used by Local Guides to ask such questions and express their doubts related to the program.

@Godwin2x I hope you have started adding businesses and Points of interests within the new settlement. By doing this you could help map users find useful information there. Hosting a meet-up is a good way to map the new settlement too.
