My name is Ruby Mie and I am in the construction industry since 2012. My passion for construction is the key to why I become a regular contributor to Google Maps. I am now a Level 6 Local Guide and is making more of my journey as one.
In the construction, I encountered different beautiful place hidden uncovered from civilization. Until we discovered it. One example is the beautiful Puting Bato Peak located in Cabadbaran City, Agusan del Norte, Philippines. It was unraveling during the construction of the Cabadbaran-Lanuza Road, a diversion road constructed to shorten the travel hours from Agusan del Norte to Surigao del Sur. The beautiful place is now known as the “New Zealand of the Philippines” because of the green meadows that surround the peak.
The discovery of the wonderful places begun when I started going with the Inspection team and explored the wonderful beauty of nature. Another example is the beautiful forest like background, in New Calaitan, Butuan City.
Construction Industry has been a very big part of my life. It made me do what I want and made me live a challenging life. My life as a traveler, blogger and nature lover all started in this industry. And I will forever contribute as a local guide hand in hand with my passion as a Construction worker.
