I’m a trusted photographer interested in becoming a trusted verifier ;
Indeed it seems that some people can cumulate these functions - we can imagine that the assessment process for their production is easier for them. I’ve noticed that when I post a 360 it’s practically always refused , except when I repost it 3 or 4 times (no montage, full resolution , little signature near the nadir ; so 100% conformal to google’s chart ) . What if the trusted verifier is a rival, searching to keep his sector ? I find that a bit of transparency for this process should avoid this kind of competition .
Ok, so how can we get trusted verifiers identities near our working areas if they are allowed to judge on a photo quality ? Should’nt there exist a list as for trusted photographers ? I just want to be sure it’s an impartial process since 2 trusted verifiers/photographers would potentially work together to keep a kind of monopoly on a region as one can money his services.

I shoot with an APS-C, my edit just consists of adding one or two little watermarks on the ground ; I control the exif metadata injection process; I find it important to keep this type of processing in order not to be compared to one-shot poor quality 360 cams ( as I’ve tested with google loan service ) whose market is video contents.
I upload it via google map on a desktop computer; what makes me think that someone ( or many ) is validating ( and not systematically a bot ) this content is that i’ve tested many different cases - I don’t believe that google algorithms can differentiate a billboard to a watermark when exif don’t let guess it has been retouched. Furthermore delays exists between constellation creation ( made within streetview app ) and approval, that can generate many loss of time when some are refused .
Finally I’m pretty happy to learn that trusted verifiers should not make trusted photographers dependent to them;
