Hello.
There is a Dairy Queen that used to be inside Tristar Centennial Hospital.
It’s been closed down for years, it’s been non existent to the hospital for quite sometime now.
Panera Bread has taken over Dairy Queen’s spot.
I’ve tried to close Dairy Queen multiple times and it gets reopened.
It’s a constant fight, why can’t I shut down a non existent place? Who keeps opening it up? I basically took pictures of what Dairy Queen is now it’s a Panera Bread. How can I keep it open but change the name to Panera Bread if I can’t keep it closed?
What to do here?
I have proof that it’s no longer in business. I have closed the business multiple times and it keeps getting reopened. And there is nothing that states that place still exists
Dairy Queen doesn’t have a link to that location anymore.
Can anyone shut this place down for good?

I have it permanently closed right now, but next week someone or Google will reopen it.

You reviewed the place 11 months ago. That could be part of the problem. Please don’t review a place that is no longer there.
Why would you add 50 photos that are clearly uploaded to the wrong pin?
This will not help your trust score.

The place is claimed, so it could be that the chain is just uploading the spreadsheet repeatedly and that is why you can not close it for good.
Try reaching out to the chain.

It get reopened every week.
It’s permanently closed and it no longer exists.
A Panera Bread exists in that spot.
I added Panera Bread pictures to Dairy Queen to hopefully catch someone’s eye to see that it’s clearly not Dairy Queen anymore.
Google says they can’t verify my information. What’s there to verify? The dairy Queen website location is dead.
I added proof to Google that it’s not Dairy Queen anymore, that it’s clearly Panera Bread in that spot.
Also I apologize I never got emails when you responded.

Is there anyway we can override the owner?
I called Dairy Queen headquarters.
They told me that Dairy Queen does not even exist on their system anymore so they have no contact information with that owner.
So basically Dairy Queen can’t do anything about it because they don’t have access they’re not the owners of that Dairy Queen store that no longer exists.
So it would be cool if somebody a higher up Google maps person can override the ownership level and get rid of it take it out completely.
The only things I can do is keep permanently closing it down just for it to reopen again.
I marked it as non-existent before as well and I even have it approved that it’s no longer there but even after approving it it’s still pops up.
So I think the only thing we can do is if we could take ownership over that Dairy Queen then we can shut it down close it down for good and make it disappear since it’s not existent.
