How can I find meet-ups in Kaduna, Nigeria?

How can we organize a meetup in kaduna Nigera for we local guides that are based there so tht we can connect with each other hava a tour to explore more places more and provide a proper review for each place and help also with our contributions

That’s really an awesome idea to connect with Local Guides of area through Local Guides Meet-ups.

For this idea, I recommend you to creating a Meet-up when you reached on Level 3 on Google maps, because it’s mandatory that Meet-up host should be on minimum Level 3 Local Guide. By this interested Local Guides can indicate their interest and participate.

Since you are new to the Community here are the steps of creating a meet-up:

  1. Create an event on the site of your choosing
  2. Visit the Meet-ups page on Connect And on this page you can also join any meet-up for gaining experience for your first meet-up.
  3. Click “submit meet-up” and enter all information (including your event link)
  4. Don’t forget to add an original photo
  5. Click submit

Once your submission is approved, it will be added to A Dedicated Section for UpComing Meet-ups where you can view and search activities.

The Nigerian Local Guides community is very active, so stay tuned for more meet-ups to pop up throughout the year as suggested by @KashifMisidia here. Also, since his reply answers your question, I’ll accept his comment as a solution. This way if others search the community for such inquiries they’ll easily find your post, and it’s answer. :slightly_smiling_face:

Great to have you folks onboard. I’ve been long working on building the community around here and yes i could say there’s progress albeit small. I guess we can have more meet ups and interesting learning sessions and hangout activities around town. Always watch this space for more interesting stuff as they roll out.

I just wanted to let you know that you can tag a member when you comment so to send a notification to the person you reply to. This way they know that you are talking to them.

To do so, you just need to digit the symbol @ and the username without space between them, like I just did now. :slightly_smiling_face:
