I keep losing the additional details (rooms, nearby activities,walkability etc) when you change/save one, others disappear. closing and re-opening the app doesn’t restore them.
anyone else seeing this? Is it possible to retrieve what I had written?

Hello. If you want support here, your profile needs to be public. What exactly is the problem? Google Maps history? Or a comment? You need to be clear about your problem.
its for reviews - for some location types, you get additional text fields you can fill in.
Mine keep deleting themselves.
I filled in most of the additional fields for this review: https://maps.app.goo.gl/7xVRuLsj8U8MGJ4W8 (which doesn’t seem to be public… but that’s another issue) and then they all disappeared. I started filling them in one at a time and the ones I had filled in started disappearing. This happened, even when I exited the app after and confirmed the previous change was in the edit screen…
Edit: ugh - not even publicly viewable if its shared!?! sometime I wonder why I bother…

Stayed over a long weekend, good experience generally, staff were excellent. Food was a overpriced for what it was though.

When we were here the bar was booked out for one day, closed on another and closed before we got there on another(10pm is not ‘late’ for a bar…) Food was fine in the restaurant, but give the price, there are much better places to eat in walking distance. Breakfast was expensive and we never tried it.
From what I understand, the issue you are experiencing is twofold: Your comments are not public and the comment you leave disappears.
If you are using older mobile devices and operating systems, you may experience problems leaving comments. To fix this issue, update your operating system and Google Maps app version.
If your comment does not comply with the rules, it will not be published. Fill in the form for unpublished comments. If you do not know which comments were not published, select the more than one year option. Do not re-edit your comment so it is not considered spam.

I’m running on a pixel7 pro - checked the app store an no maps updates.
In the review above, its the food and drinks bit that will disappear if I say filled in the rooms section - not comments on other peoples reviews. Or is that what you mean?
Is there anything bad you see in the above review that might cause problems?
