Hospital

I am glad to state that the likes of @Sagir , @EmekaUlor have greatly inspired the local guide in me.

I have fully keyed into the world wide Hospitals edit, but as I go about this, I have a concern that, since some private hospitals are not that super equipped, or built to class, the operators may not be comfortable having their structures photographed, how should we go about this? Persuade them to allow? Not take some detailed photographs? Or do so in spy mode?

I also have thought about it that just verifying map address accuracy and phone numbers will do for some hospitals, but I will appreciate ideas around this.

Thanks

@Anakor_Jeremiah thank you for your kind words. I am glad you are firing cylinders and that your passion to help our community is not waning.

I’d advise you speak with the hospital involved and get permission on what to do. Remember that medical centres do not advertise their organization and privacy is a serious issue.

So, getting a snapshot of the frontview and sign post should be fine (with permission too) but most importantly verifying the location on Google Maps and confirming their contact address should be useful for users.

Phoning or emailing during emergency can save lives. Right?

Goodluck with your meetup

Hello @Anakor_Jeremiah ,

I’ll just let you know that I have moved your post to the How-tos section since you’re searching for an answer to a question.

I see you’ve already received a thorough reply in the comments which I can also say that I agree with. Thank you @EmekaUlor for the detailed answer!

When it comes to taking photos of businesses whether it is privately owned or owned by the state, it’s always best to have permission.

@MortenSI @EmekaUlor , am grateful for your helpful insights.

Noted with thanks
