Horizons - Natural and Artificial

I am one of those people, who believe that we, as animals biologically, and foragers historically, have a special tie to nature, to openness, which have urged me to delve into the spectacular world of landscape photography.

I love to roam, and who doesn’t? But I love to explore the nooks and crannies of my surrounding areas, finding out new places, new atmosphere and relatively unknown or lesser known places that is not very far behind in natural aesthetics, to the more famous paradises on Earth. I have a relatively cheaper camera and a half decent smartphone and tight budget, so why not make the most out of it?

I love to explore and photograph places near me, lesser known ones, and document the landscapes, natural, urban or rural, to help thousands of other people stuck in the same crowded areas like Digha come and explore what has waited so long for us. I always want to bring people’s attention to new places, especially ones with the nature factor in them, and help people see the facilities and also suggest infrastructure, that might improve the place in future. I love my State of Bengal, and there are beautiful areas here which are not very famous, despite deserving to be on the top spots. I want to promote the local people and boost tourism of all the areas I visit and I love, so that many other people can experience the true flavors of Bengal, not what they advertise on television.
