World Health Day seems more important than ever this year. This holiday was established by the World Health Organization to show appreciation for and increase awareness about those who work in healthcare.
We want to join them by showing these incredible medical professionals our appreciation for all they’re doing, especially now, to keep people healthy around the world. We know many of you in the Local Guides community work in healthcare and we wanted to take a moment to say thank you for all that you do.

Medical health professionals are the most important persons of the present-day while human civilization is trying to survive against the COVID-19. Though they are always important to us, now the people need them more, we feel the necessity of them more. We honor them, we love them and we salute them for the works they do for us. Thanks @KatieMcBroom for reminding us for the World Health Day. This year this day and the role of doctors in our life become more important as to save lives across the world post Corona Pandemic, created a kind of havoc in the minds of people, as if a doomed day has finally come.
The doctors are supposed to be a saver on the earth after the Almighty. We can’t ignore their role in helping us from one way to other .

When world is facing such a big pandemic covid-19 we are standing with full soladarity with our health and sanitation workers who are not only serving humankind they are making supreme sacrifice.
We all say thanks to all medical professionals who are on the first line of fighting this pandemic and we do our bests to help them.
I think we, as Local Guides, can do even more and it would be good if Google prepares a tool for this. For example, changing the logo of medical centers on the map temporarily.
