HongKong - Economics capital of world or something else? #2

Hello Local guides and Moderators,

Welcome again!

Day 2: -

Now it’s day 2 in Hong Kong. Since this is my first foreign travel so Instead of travelling through cabs buses I preferred why don’t just walk and experience each and every part of Hong Kong. So I came out of hotel and start moving, looking way on Google Maps.

In the way I observed beautiful path, streets and Roads of Hong Kong, Number of tall and beautiful buildings. There are many small shops along the side of road, Shops of chocolates, clothes, cosmetics and many more. The places is visited on day 2 :-

Tsim Sha Tsui

Tsim sha shui is the part of Hong Kong situated in the Kowloon island of Hongkong. It is most densely populated part of Hong Kong.

The most tourist attraction places in Tshim sha Tsui are Avenue of Starts, Kowloon Public pier. Kowloon park. You can also take a cruise ride to experience Hong Kong Island on water.

Sheung wan

Sheung wan is situated in west central side of Main Hong Kong Island. Sheung Wan street is mainly famous for buying dried sea food such as Dry fish Maw, Eel Fish Maw, cucumber, shrimps etc. There are number of shop retailer for dry sea food in the streets of Sheung wan where you can find dry fish from 50 USD to 8000 USD depends on the weight and size of the fish. Just because these premium items it is famous among the high class residents of Hong Kong. Dues Voeux Road, Queens road, Hollywood road are the main street of this Area. Transport around here is Trams, Buses and Boats.

The Victoria Peak

Victoria peak is a mountain in Hong Kong Island generally known as the peak among the locals. It is elevated to 1200 ft approx. It is the highest hill on Hong Kong Island. The surrounding area of this peak have parks and high Value residents just remind me of Beverly hills of Los Angles. You can reach there by road or in more fun way by the tram. I visited to victoria peak through my friend’s car. I visited this place in the evening. What I see is sparkling view of Hong Kong Skylines. It is looking so beautiful feels like there are stars in ground also.

Day 3:-

So The places I visited on the third day of trip are as follows.

Hong Kong zoological and Botanical Garden

It is situated in middle of the Hong Kong Island. I reached there by taking a walk of 1.8 kms from my hotel. So the main attraction over there is the different species such as Squirrel monkey, orangutan, Chimpanzee etc. We can also experience different king of birds such as Orange flamingo (seen first time in my life), Parrots, and black face spoonbill, peacock pheasant. Also I saw Black and white ruffed lemur, Sloth and Meerkat for first time.

Apart from Animals and birds this garden also decorated with different kind of flower, plants and tress. There is a green house consist of colorful flowers and plants. I actually not remember the names of flower but they seem too beautiful.

Hong Kong Park

Hong Kong Park is a public park in the Hong Kong central area. Hong Kong Park is a beauty in the busy and crowded business area of Hong Kong. This park amazed me with its beautiful landscapes and unique designs. It has a pond in the center in which I can see tortoise, fishes and aquatic plants. This park is situated in the center of Hong Kong so that I can see the combination of Architect and natural in single picture. Visiting this park is my best experience of Hong Kong.

Tamar Park

It is another park in the admiralty locality of Hong Kong. This park is made in 17000 sq. feet of area. The main center Of attraction in this park is the blue sea and its modern Infrastructure. This park is just after the Hong Kong’s highest building, which is known as International conference center. From this park I can see the giant Ferris wheel, Hong Kong convention center and Administration Buildings.

All the place, I visited by using Google maps and keep my Idea experience Hongkong on foot. Since it is a short business trip for 3 days and Most of the time I am busy in working so I don’t get a chance to visit the street food market of Hong Kong. As I heard from many Hong Kong have very good street food in China, I miss to experience the taste of Hong Kong. I leave It on “to do list” for my Next trip to Hongkong.

I hope you like my photos and story of Hong Kong. And Please share your experiences and stories of Hong Kong.

Thank you.

Sure I love your photos and the place you go @Sahilmsk2208 .

Victoria Peak is my favourite place there also. I ever took persimmons to eat there and enjoy my favourite fruits while sitting among the trees and cold water up there. I agree that walking will give more different interesting view than we see from taking cab.
