Hello @NYC_Boyz ,

Thank you for sharing this photo with us, the meal looks very delicious!

Is this a famous dish in your country, or it’s an improvisation that you did?

I love fish in general and salmon is one of my favorites. What kind of ingredients did you use in order to prepare this meal? Could you provide us with the recipe please?

Is wild salmon your favorite fish? What other fish do you like?

I prefer wild caught over farmed salmon as it’s higher in nutritional value. I make it pan fried with a small tea spoon of butter (the salmon skin will release fat) and it’ll cook nicely with a subtle buttery taste. I’ve seen videos which show that you can cook the salmon skin up first and others with skin down. I’ve tried both and each works well. Use a non stick skillet, otherwise you will have skin stuck no matter which side you cook first. I sauteed the brocolli first as it takes longer, half way cooked, I put in the mushrooms, with some chopped red onions. You can cover the pan with veggies if you want them to cook faster. Once cooked, I throw in some chopped cilantro and mix. I use some sour cream to get a creamy taste on veggies. This dish is something I had at a restaurant once and tried to replicate it. I used turmeric, red pepper flakes, Himalayan pink salt & dash of garlic powder to season fish and veggies.
