I have been more active on connect than usual these days because I love it. It has become my hobby and way of relaxing. I enjoy the interaction and learning,I appreciate the different local guides and moderators. I enjoy the thrills and communications of this international community of local guides.
I made A poem for connect. I also arranged A customised ice-cream for connect, now what have I here again. A home made cake for connect !!! I am dedicating this entirely to connect, the moderators and my fellow local guides on the forum. Hip ! Hip !! Hip !!! Hurray.
I am a real foodie,though for a while now I haven’t been too active on the food and drink board. Now I had plans to bake a cake, homemade cake dedicated to connect just like my Poem and Ice-cream . This connect cake was baked at home,right at my residence and I was assisted by my little nephew and sister. It wasn’t too hard but it took the whole day anyway. Icing it and getting the real connect colour and shape was a job ! I did the baking yesterday and decided to share it today !!! Mind you this isn’t my first cake post on connect. I have also made A Pineapple head cake post . That’s a while ago now. Look it up and enjoy it if you like.
Just the normal cake making process and procedure. Therefore I will not bother you with that. Quantity does depend of course on the size of cake you want. I’ll tell you what I did extra was to add a little bit of coconut chips and pieces. I have the coconut tree here in my compound and there was a fresh one available.
Hahaha . Thank you for admiring the cake and thank you for your nice comments. Well creative or not we had to eat the cake. It wasn’t foe decorations,it was to be eaten.

The taste, oh my. It was sumptuous I tell you. I have a little piece left in the fridge. I could send that through what? Courier service or something to you !!! Hahaha.

Thank you for such a great comment on my cake. I have seen some very nice cakes on connect though maybe nicer than mine. LOL. Well I am not saying it’s great but I am happy I did it. I have this plan for a good while.

Yes Its my first time to bake because my little nephew bakes you see… A connect cake was the first thing I thought of experimenting on. The taste was so nice ! Thank you for your response on this.
That’s a pity you can’t get tasting this cake but anyway that’s life! Lol Yes I seem to be taking a fancy to baking now. The process around it could be a bit messy though . It’s a new thing I seem to liking it now.
Perhaps by the time you get very good at it and know where you are going with different recipes etc. It’s amazing what can be a nice distraction to us and relieve our stress.
Well I enjoyed it and to crown it all,the taste was so good. I did share it with some of my friends. That was the best part of the baking .
