I have learned a lot as a local guide from Level 1 & accordingly, Maps has taught a lot to me in terms of my photography.
The most interesting thing which I did when I was on a weekend trip to Mussoorie in India. I captured the pictures of sunrise in -8 deg celsius without gloves. It was a challenging experience while doing photography as a Local guide and as an amateur travel photographer, but it was an amazing time spent in between the minus temperature in Hill station like Mussoorie.
Local Guides Program is a wonderful program for me. It’s a great opportunity offered by google maps which helps users to be cognizant about the society and environment around us. For me, the Local Guides program is a way of sharing my knowledge and experience with the public around us via photos, ratings, reviews and some Q&A. It strengthens the overall dependence of people around us on Google Maps for amazing reviews & great piece of information.
