The Ancient Site at Kot Diji (Sindhi: ڪوٽ ڏیجي; Urdu: کوٹ ڈیجی) was the forerunner of the Indus Civilization. The occupation of this site is attested already at 3300 BCE. The remains consist of two parts; the citadel area on high ground (about 12 m [39 ft])), and outer area. The Pakistan Department of Archaeology excavated at Kot Diji in 1955 and 1957.[1]
Located about 45 km (28 mi)) south of Khairpur in the province of Sindh, Pakistan, it is on the east bank of the Indus opposite Mohenjo-daro.

The site is situated at the foot of the Rohri Hills where a fort (Kot Diji Fort) was built around 1790 by the Talpur dynasty ruler of Upper Sindh, Mir Suhrab, who reigned from 1783 to 1830 AD. This fort built on the ridge of a steep narrow hill is well-preserved.

Appreciate your efforts and dedication.

However,

If you don’t TAG, the other LG won’t get any “Notification” that you have responded to.

How to TAG: Simply by typing the symbol @ before the User Name of an LG (as I have done above, to you), you can send a notification (TAG) to the other member. Ex: if you need to TAG me, then type @ followed by TravellerG - then I will get a notification - for more details, click 'Here’.

Also, you are using the Font Formatting options… That is why your words are coming with lines…

I appreciate your effort, but I’d like to offer some tips and suggestions.

you:

  1. Write your posts based on your own experiences rather than copying from other websites. We like hearing about what you’ve personally experienced when you visit places.

  2. Share photos that you’ve taken yourself. It’s against the rules to use photos from other websites without permission.

  3. Using normal fonts for your posts looks better than using bold fonts. So, try to write your posts in normal fonts.
