Historical beauty of Woomera

Woomera in the South Australian desert, is an artificial town, designed to provide accommodation and facilities for personnel - scientists, technicians and ancillary staff - working at an isolated experimental station used to test rockets, weapons and missiles. Prior to the arrival of Europeans the area was home to the Kokatha Aboriginal people.

Though I am not a fan of long writing, however couldn’t resist to image few historical beauty. Kids to adults everyone will enjoy it as it is showcasing the history and you can witness some machines used practically. This is an open to all and free entry. I would definitely recommend to visit this for having an unique experience.
