Historic environments, food and accessibility

What I like to do in the maps is to help people who need information about establishments, such as: opening hours, parking if they have accessibility, and so on. When I find a good place I like to record it through photos and comments, as a way to encourage more people to know this place as well. My publications such as the Metropol Hostel Berlin and Rock & Ribs Lounge (in my town), which have reached many people, justify this my interest in helping people to know good places.

Glad to be in historical sites and book that moment with photos. In 2016, for example, I had the opportunity to go to Berlin funded by an international event called Applied Networking Research Workshop (ANRW), where research on internet standards and protocols is presented. This year I was able to make my first and only international trip. I was in historical places (Berlin Olympic Stadium, Checkpoint Charlie, Berlin Wall among others), I was able to meet people who have always lived in the city and try different foods than those that exist in Brazil.

Because of this international event I knew a little about web accessibility, and that today is my object of study for graduation at the University of Pernambuco. This trip made me realize that both in Brazil and in Berlin the accessibility is a factor that should be more stimulated. The autonomy for people with visual, auditory and motor deficiencies are few or nonexistent. Through Apps and or tactile tools, this group of people could get to know amazing places. And so more people could be impacted by historical experiences.
