Hilsa/Ilish or Hilsa shad is a famous fish in the Indian subcontinent and Asian countries. It is a national fish in Bangladesh and WestBengal in India. Bengalis are foodies and they devoured fish in daily meals and for any special occasion. Along with all other fishes, Hilsa is the queen of fish. The dishes made out of Hilsa fish are scrumptious.
Hilsa is my favorite fish. I love to cook and eat this fish very much. For me this is not a fish this is love. The assorted dish can be made with Hilsa/Ilish fish.
