Good day guys
Today I’d like to share with my hike to “AK SAI” glacier 3500m of sea level, That’s located not far from Bishkek capital city of Kyrgyzstan.
We started hiking at 7 a.m and reached by 11:30 a.m, that’s almost record to reach in 4:30 hours, we did only 3 stops with 5-10 minutes brake. Almost 70% of way is hills of 20-40% upward degrees and definitely it wasn’t easy for me as I had no practice for last 3 years as I’ve been living in Qatar that there is no mounts.
Caption: 07:00 a.m / starting point
Caption: wild mount flowers. BTW pretty cold here so that’s might strong flower as still alive and fresh.
caption: Alpine lager at Ak sai glacier
Caption: lake named “Учитель” that means in English “Teacher”
Caption: that’s we are back from glacier, on the picture alpine hotel.
Caption: CAUTION!!! PAY ATTENTION!! Pedestrians ahead, give a way!

Hello @IlyazBeck ,
Thanks for sharing this interesting experience with us! Is that far from the Issyk Kul lake? I have been fascinated by the Kyrgyz Republic since I have read a book titled “Letters from Kyrgyzstan”, an interesting Italian novel by Silvano Agosti, where your country and your people are narrated as very peculiar and beautiful.
I also wanted to let you know that if you want to insert captions of your photos in the proper way, you can follow these tips: Uploading a photo on Connect? Read these guidelines first.

Hi @Giu_DiB thank you for commenting
It’s quit far from Issyk kul lake, approximately 300 km. Here in Kyrgyzstan we have 7 regions and each of that has own beating places, traditions etc.
I would invite you to come over here and witness it, no covid strict restrictions for tourists now.
