Climbing this mountain is one of my things in my life. It is 7 359 ft tall and i have climbed this mountain for the 30 th times already.
As sri lankans this hike have become the locals favourite hike. It is because of the environment vibe and religiously important for everyone.
Environmentally it is very important because four main large rivers in srilanka, started from this forest. And this forest has become a home for many elephants ,leopards and so many animals .
Personally my favourite road is kuruwita road. It is 15 km long and beautiful.
